The Mission Cemetery

There are many graves in the cemetery. The graves weren't that old; the oldest grave I saw was from 1913.

There are 3000 Indians buried at the mission. Most of them don't have crosses on their graves.

On the Cemetery Wall

The skull is a symbol of death. There were tiles like these on both sides of the gates. One was in English, and one in Spanish.
