The Mission Courtyard Gate

The missionaries have done a lot of work to keep their courtyard very nice and clean.

The courtyard fountain

There is a fountain in the courtyard, and lots of plants. There is a cannon in the middle. San Gabriel is one of the few missions that had a cannon.

There were models of all 21 missions in the courtyard. There were also barbeques to cook in when the kitchen was burned down.
